P7 Parents: Transfer Test Results

Please read the information below regarding the release of SEAG Transfer Test results this Saturday. As is the nature of the tests, there will be a range of scores and bands within this year's large cohort. Please celebrate the achievement of your child completing the tests irrespective of their scores. I will be available to meet with any parents who wish to discuss post-primary choices over the next 2 weeks.

I have added an approximate equivalent of the old GL grading system (A/B1/B2/C1/C2/D) below to help with comparing Bands and TSAS's (please note: grammars no longer use the old grading system).

This includes a breakdown of the TSAS (Total Standardised Age Scores) needed to achieve each Band.

BAND - TSAS

1 - 207 or higher   (A = 206+ B1 = 197-206 B2 = 190-197 C1 = 183-190 C2 = 174-183 D = 174 or lower)

2 - 200 - 206

3 - 193 - 199

4 - 185 - 192

5 - 176 - 184

6 - 175 or lower

"SEAG Re-marks 2025-26 Information and Guidance for Parents"

This explains the re-mark process and what a re-mark can and cannot do. The re-mark window will open at 8am Monday 26th January 2026 and will close at 5pm Wednesday 4th February 2026.

SEAG 2025-26 Entrance Assessment Outcomes

Parents / guardians will be able to access their child's Outcomes from the November 2025 Entrance Assessment by logging on to their Dashboard from 8:00am on Saturday 24th January 2026.

Each child will have a "Statement of Outcomes" which can be downloaded and saved / printed off.

If this applies to you please check, before 24th January, that you are able to log on e.g. that you have not forgotten your password or the email address you used.
