We celebrated the festival of St Patrick today by having a Green Day. The children carried out some arts and crafts and took part in a ceílí. The children had great fun learning the Siege of Ennis. The children were also entertained by some irish dancing by some of our pupils. Mr Grimley and Mrs Magill also took to the floor, but it was Cassie in P2 who got the biggest applause of the whole day. Finally we were treated to a beautiful rendition of The Dawning of the Day on the tin whistle by Éabha (P3) followed by a lively performance of The Rattlin Bog by Matthew (P7).
