We were delighted to welcome past pupils Darragh and Gary to our school today along with their friend Dara to share their recent success with the ABP Beef Group and their Sustainable Beef project.
The lads shared the huge amount of work and research required for this project and the successes they have had including a Cool FM radio advert and Balmoral Show podcast!
The boys are currently raising 5 calves as part of their project and will share the profits when they are put up for sale later this year.
Next week, they will visit Greenmount College before carrying out field trips to farms in Monaghan and Birmingham.
What an experience and achievement! We are very proud of you boys!
