🌈 Rainbow Science
17th Oct 2025
STEM WEEK in Primary 2
Our Skittles and Warm Water Experiment
What we did:
We put colourful Skittles around a plate and poured warm water in the middle.
What we saw:
The colours started to spread out and made a rainbow pattern!
What we learned:
- The colour and sugar on the Skittles dissolved in the warm water.
- The colours moved and made patterns because the sugar was mixing with the water.
- We found out that warm water helps things dissolve faster than cold water.
- We can look closely, make predictions, and talk about what we see.
It was like magic – but it was science! 🔬
