Health and Wellbeing Challenge

1st Mar 2021

During these very unusual times that we find ourselves in it is more important than ever that we look after our physical and mental health.  Children (and indeed adults) are spending more and more time in front of screens and digital devices than ever before.  This month we are challenging you to step away from the devices and venture out into the great outdoors for a minimum of 30 minutes every day.  Play, ride a bike, kick a ball, roll around the garden or why not take 30 minutes to go for a lovely family walk and have a chat.  You can always set aside 30minutes in your day... it is possible if you make the effort.

The days are getting longer and the sun is finally starting to shine so please embrace our March challenge and we promise it will make such a difference to how you feel physically and mentally.

The school staff are going to lead by example and take on this challenge also.

Print off the record sheet attached to this post and record your progress as you go!

We hope you all have fun and enjoy the lovely Spring weather and no doubt some rain along the way too...but don't let that stop you!!

This is a personal challenge and you do not need to send your record sheet back to school.  It is for your own reference.  We would like you to take a photo of your challenge at some stage during March and we will do a lovely website post at the end of the month.

Have fun and stay safe.
