Halloween @ Roan!

29th Oct 2019

The children had a fun filled day celebrating in spooky style.  From potion making in P1 and pin the smile on the pumpkin in P2 to Disco time for the whole school.  We all had a brilliant day, and night!  Thank you to all the P2 families who carved pumpkins, this really set the scene for our assembly and our disco.  A huge well done to everyone on their amazing costumes, we really appreciate the effort you all go to.  It was great to see some of the staff getting into the Halloween spirit also and maybe next year we can get Mr Grimley a hat and a broomstick too!

The disco was a huge success and raised lots of money for school funds.  Thanks to all those who helped out on the night with collecting money, selling tickets, giving out snacks and also helping to tidy up.  We couldn't do these events without the great support from all the parents.  It was a busy night but the children all seemed to enjoy themselves and that is what it is all about!

Happy Halloween!
