We had a very special visitor to our school this week! 100-year-old, Bob, a close friend of our parent Helena Muldoon, spoke to our Key Stage 2 children about his amazing life. Bob fought in World War 2 and shared his experiences, which was particularly interesting for our P5 and 6 children who have been studying that topic. He presented a PowerPoint and answered lots of questions which our children found intriguing. Bob told us that the key to a long and healthy life is hard work, effort and exercise! A huge thanks to Bob for sharing his wisdom, and to Helena for organising all!
